© Copyright 2010 Amptech Energy Systems  --  SITE MAP Designed for Safe and Code Compliant PV Installations Our PV Combiner Box is designed to combine the output of multiple solar electric (PV) source circuits. Each circuit can accept up to 12 Amps of PV input current up to a total maximum of 340 Amps. Simplifies Array Maintenance The Amptech Combiner Box provides a convenient, visual way to isolate the PV array input circuits. No interruption of the power production of other circuits in the array is required. This reduces the time required to troubleshoot any PV related circuitry problems and improves safety. Reduces Wiring Time and Costs The combiner box is designed for installation near the PV array. Each series string of solar modules is connected to one of the fused circuits. Up to 24 solar array inputs may be combined at the Amptech Combiner Box, yet only a single pair of wires is required between the Combiner Box and the PV inverter location. This can result in considerable savings in the cost of wire since fewer wires will have to be run. Each input circuit will accept up to #6 AWG wire. The Amptech Combiner Box has one set of output terminals (#2/0 wire max). Amptech Energy Systems Solar Combiner Box features: Touch safe fuse holders. Covered positive bus bar and enclosed negative bus bars for additional safety. By designing the solar combiner without knockouts allows the balance of systems installer to determine the right entry or exit opening for a particular BOS installation. Ample room to make connecting the solar modules inputs and outputs straightforward and easy. Amptech Energy Systems BOS are built using U/L listed components. Combiner Box model CB 1820F12 is for up to 12 solar array input circuits. Combiner Box model CB 1820F24 is for up to 24 solar array input circuits. 600 volt ratings. CB1820FXX Series Combiner Overview The Amptech Energy Systems PV Source Combiner box stands out for its quality of materials and ease of installation.
